This page says what the Loop31 app collects, why, where it is kept, who sees it, and how to delete it. It is written for the people who use the app, not for lawyers. If anything is unclear, write to support@loop31.com.
Loop31 is made by Compound Coder LLC, an Indiana company. "We" and "us" mean Compound Coder LLC. "You" means the person using the app.
The short version
- We keep what the app needs to do its job: your email, the business details that go under your posts, your posts and photos, your schedule, and the record of what you approved.
- Everything is kept on our server in the United States, run for us by Supabase.
- Caption text goes to an outside AI company only if you say yes in the app, and only caption text. Your name, phone, email, photos, and client reviews never go.
- We never sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and sites.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time, and everything we hold for you goes with it.
What we collect, and why
Your account
- Email address. You sign in with a 6-digit code sent to it; there is no password. We also use it for support. It is kept by our sign-in service (Supabase Auth) and not copied into our own tables.
- A sign-in ID, which ties your data to you, plus the sign-in code while it works (10 minutes). Supabase Auth keeps a log of sign-ins, including the IP address and a description of the device, to keep accounts safe.
- Your name, typed at setup, for the line the app adds under every post.
Your business details
- Work phone, brokerage or dealership, license state, Instagram handle, Facebook Page name, and the area you serve. They make up the line under every post and tell the app which state's advertising rules to apply.
- Your setup answers: your line of work, the two questions at setup, the tone you picked, where you post, whether your Instagram is public, your time zone, the day and time of your weekly look-over, and how long setup took.
- Your writing-help answer, kept as a record: yes or no, when you answered, and which wording you saw. That record stays on our server; it is never sent anywhere.
Your posts
- Captions, the versions waiting for your OK, and the words in each caption that must stay exact.
- Photos and videos. When you pick a photo, the app makes one cleaned copy on your phone (location data removed, no larger than 4,096 pixels on the long side) and uploads only that copy to our private storage. We never see your photo library: Apple's picker shows us only what you pick. Videos up to 90 seconds.
- Client reviews: the client's exact words, the name they want shown, the date, and your confirmation that they said it's OK to share.
- Listing and vehicle details for the posts that follow a listing or a car from arrival to sale: address, price, MLS number, beds and baths, dates, who took the photos; or VIN, stock number, price, mileage, and payment terms.
Your schedule and approvals
- The schedule: which post goes out when, and where. Reminders are built from it on your phone.
- Your look-over answers (Looks Good, Skip, Change), whether a post went out, your streak and awards.
- A history of what was approved, when, and what the checks said at the time. It is your own record, and your broker's or dealership's if they ever need it.
The checks
- Results of the rule checks: which rule fired, the highlighted words, and the rule's basis.
- Wording the outside AI pointed out (Real Estate, only if writing help is on): the phrase, a one-sentence reason, and which model said so.
Keeping the service running
- Server logs: which request came in, when, and how long it took. Our logs never contain caption text or anything you typed. Supabase's own logs of requests to our project also record the IP address and device description.
- Error reports from the app: the error, the app and iOS version, and the device model. No user ID and no caption text. Apple's TestFlight sends us crash reports during the beta as well.
- Two timings for measuring whether the app is quick enough: how long setup took, and how long sharing a post took. There is no analytics or crash-reporting vendor in the app.
If you pick "Something else" at setup
If your line of work isn't one the app supports yet, you can leave your email and what you do. We use them for one thing: to tell you when it is ready, and to decide which line of work to build next.
Where it is kept
Everything above lives in one project on Supabase, in the United States (Amazon Web Services, Northern Virginia). Supabase runs the database, the sign-in service, the private storage for photos and videos, the small server programs the app talks to, and the logs. Supabase works for us under its data processing terms and does not use your data for anything of its own.
Some things stay on your phone only: the files for a post that is ready to share, the crops, the reminders, and the Loop31 album in your Photos app.
Who we share it with
We share your data with the companies that do a job for us, and only what that job needs. Nobody gets it for their own use.
| Who | What goes to them, and when |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Hosts everything we keep (see "Where it is kept"). Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy |
| OpenAI | Writes fresh versions of a caption, only if you said yes to writing help in the app, and only when you ask for another version. It receives the caption, the words in it that must stay exact, your line of work, and the tone you picked. It never receives your name, email, phone, the line under your posts, a photo, a client review, the area you serve, or any account ID. We send each request with storage turned off, so OpenAI keeps no copy of the result; its safety logs may hold the text for up to 30 days. OpenAI does not train its models on it. Privacy policy: openai.com/policies/privacy-policy |
| Anthropic | Gives a second look at the wording of real estate captions for phrases that might raise fair housing questions, only if you said yes to writing help in the app, and only for the Real Estate line of work. It receives the caption text and nothing else: never your name, phone, the line under your posts, the name line of a client review, a photo, or any account ID. What comes back is a pointer for you to look at; it never decides anything. Anthropic does not train its models on it. Privacy policy: anthropic.com/legal/privacy |
| The email service that delivers your sign-in code | Your email address and the 6-digit code, each time you sign in. Nothing else. |
| Apple | Delivers the app through TestFlight and the App Store and sends us crash reports. If you sign in with Apple, once that is offered, Apple gives us a stable ID and either your email or a relay address. Privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy |
| Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Marketplace | Only what you share yourself. When you tap Share, the app hands the photos to that app on your phone and the caption is on your clipboard. We send nothing to their servers. Once posted, the post is yours, under that platform's rules. |
Saying no to writing help keeps the rule checks only, and the app says so. The app never names these companies on its screens; the names live here.
Connected accounts ("Posted for you")
Loop31 does not post on your behalf today. When that feature arrives, it will work only for accounts that allow it (Instagram Business or Creator accounts and Facebook Pages), and only if you connect one. Then:
- We keep the access tokens Meta gives us, the account ID and handle, and the permissions you granted. They are encrypted before they reach our database.
- We use them for two things: to publish the posts you approved at the scheduled time, and to read how many people each post reached.
- You can disconnect the account in the app at any time. We delete the tokens then, and when you delete your account.
- Nothing of this applies to a personal account. We never hold a token, login, or password for one, and never post to one.
What we never do
- No tracking: no advertising ID, no ad software, no data brokers, no following you across other companies' apps or sites. The app never asks the iPhone's tracking permission because it has nothing to track.
- No selling, renting, or sharing your data for advertising. No ads.
- No posting to personal Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok profiles, and no logins or passwords for them.
- No photos, name, phone, email, contacts, or client reviews to any AI company, ever. Only caption text, only with your yes.
- No reading your photo library. The app can only add to it, in its own album.
- No reading your clipboard. The app writes the caption to it and nothing else.
- No biometric data. Approving from the Lock Screen uses your phone's own unlock, which the app never sees.
- No logging of what you type. Our server logs hold codes, counts, and timings only.
Phone permissions
- Photos, add only. Asked the first time the app prepares a post, so it can save the post's photos to a Loop31 album. The app cannot see, list, or delete anything else in your library.
- Camera. Asked only if you tap Take a Photo. The photo is handled like a picked one.
- Notifications. Asked after your first look-over, for reminders.
- Never asked: location, contacts, microphone, calendar, Bluetooth, or tracking.
How long we keep things
| What | Kept until |
|---|---|
| Your account, business details, posts, photos, schedule, approvals, and history | You delete the post, or you delete your account |
| The ready-to-share files for a post, on your phone and on our server | 30 days after the post went out or was skipped |
| Client reviews | Stop showing in posts after two years (you can change this); stored until you delete them or your account |
| Server logs and error reports | 30 days |
| "Something else" answers | Until we tell you your line of work is ready, or you ask, or 24 months at most |
| Backups, if turned on | 30 days |
Deleting your account
In the app, open Profile and tap Delete Account. The app asks you to sign in again, then lists what will be removed. When you confirm, everything goes: your profile and business details, your Loops and posts, every photo and video in our storage, your schedule, approvals and history, the check results, your writing-help record, any "Something else" answer matched to your email, and your sign-in itself. Any connected account's tokens are removed and, where Meta allows it, revoked. The last thing deleted is your sign-in, so a step that fails can be tried again while you are still signed in.
What stays: the Loop31 album in your Photos app (the app can add to Photos but cannot delete from it; remove the album yourself if you like), and any post already published to your own accounts. Backups roll off within 30 days. The companies in "Who we share it with" follow their own retention; for OpenAI that is up to 30 days of safety logs.
If you can't open the app, or if you are not a user but your details were put into it (for example, a client whose review an agent shared), email support@loop31.com and we will remove the data. Write from the email address you signed in with, if you have an account, so we know it's you.
Features that are coming
These are planned and not in the app yet. Before any of them ships, this page will say exactly what it adds:
- Posted for you, described above, which adds Meta and the connected-account tokens.
- Paid plans through the App Store. Apple handles billing and we never see card details; a subscription service would hold your user ID and purchase receipts.
- Lock Screen updates for the look-over, which use an Apple push token.
- Stock photos as backgrounds for text posts, loaded by your phone from Unsplash, which would then see your phone's IP address and which photo was requested.
- Listing and vehicle lookups: an address sent to a property-data service to check a listing is yours, and a VIN sent to the US government's free vehicle decoder.
Children
Loop31 is for working adults and is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from a child. If you think a child has made an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this page, we update the date at the top. For a change that matters, such as a new company receiving your data or a new kind of data collected, we tell you in the app before it takes effect, and where the law requires it we ask you again.
